1993-Present: Head of Polar Meteorology Group of the Byrd Polar Research Center.

1979-Present: Senior Research Scientist, Research Scientist, Senior Research Associate, Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow with the Byrd Polar Research Center. Research specialty: polar meteorology and climatology.

1991-1998: Adjunct Associate Professor (1995- 1998) with Atmospheric Sciences Program, Department of Geography. Adj. Asst. Professor (1991-1995). Advise graduate students and teach graduate atmospheric science classes.

1995-2009: Affiliated Faculty, Environmental Science Graduate Program, The Ohio State University.
